What is SoundOff?
SoundOff is an app for live music fans. It surfaces shows based on your own taste and history, shows who from your circle is already in, and keeps a ranked record of nights you were actually at. It is built for live music, not streaming playlists.
How does SoundOff ranking work?
No star ratings. You compare two shows at a time and pick the better one. Each vote refines your rankings, so over time your all-time list reflects real preferences instead of a pile of five-star scores.
Is SoundOff free?
SoundOff is free to download and use on iOS, Android, and the web at launch.soundoffapp.io.
Is SoundOff an event finder like Bandsintown or Songkick?
No. Bandsintown and Songkick are comprehensive upcoming-listings and ticket-alert tools. SoundOff surfaces shows personalized to you: based on shows you have logged, artists you care about, and who from your crew is already going. That is the point. It is not trying to list every show in your city.
What makes SoundOff different from Spotify or Bandsintown?
Spotify tracks what you stream. Bandsintown tracks what you plan to attend across a wide listings calendar. SoundOff picks upcoming nights from your own taste and attendance history, then ranks and archives the shows you were actually at.
Is SoundOff like Letterboxd for concerts?
Yes. Letterboxd is a diary for films. SoundOff is a journal for live shows: log the night, rank the set, keep the memory, and get picks based on that history, not a generic city calendar.
