DJ Jee

A figure in the Parisian electronic scene for nearly thirty years, DJ Jee is on all fronts: DJ, producer, promoter, label manager, distributor/record dealer and ex-columnist. Raised at Laurent Garnier's 'Wake Up' evenings in the mid-90s, we find him behind the turntables of many Parisian venues but also behind the organization of quite a few events including the unmissable Technorama (Rex Club/Batofar/Nuits Fawns). We will also notice him through his numerous reviews of singles for Trax and Tsugi magazines but also through his full-time job at the distributor Topplers, which has since been converted into a Music House record shop. He is one of the founders of the Sound Enforcers label dedicated to drum & bass & co-founder of the Technorama Records label. We also find him as a producer alongside Yann Lean with a remix of Whim-ee & Myles Sergé and with the track 'Hot!' released on After O'Clock, the famous Parisian after-party label of which he is the resident. As comfortable in house as in hip-hop, house or drum'n'bass, DJ Jee is one of those enthusiasts who goes through the years with sincerity and far from the 'hype' of the moment.
