KAVARI is a Liverpool-born electronic music artist, and DJ based in Glasgow, known for her transgressive art and experimental approach to sound and performance. Raised in the Scottish Highlands, she began performing in her late teens, creating a distinct, high-intensity style that blends her influences of industrial, ambient, club, EDM, and noise music. One of electronic music's most influential artists of the last decade, KAVARI's practice is based in the unconventional and deconstructed, making music and sounds which are both dread-inducing and cathartic at once. Somewhere in between dance music, ambient and harsh noise, her sound palette has been deeply influential across the experimental electronic scene where its current state has seemed to become a reflection of the sounds she pioneered. KAVARI draws from the legacy of British experimental sound while pushing it into new territory. Her work focuses on distortion, contrast, and structural disruption—challenging conventions in both underground and commercial music spaces.
