Laura King

Laura King is a leading force in Australia’s contemporary techno/trance scene and for the better half of a decade she’s been bridging the gap between global trends and local flavour - all a reflection of her passion and vast experiences within the dance music world. She loves to craft sets that reflect the full spectrum of her musical journey, driven by intuition and refined by years of experience. Laura's sound is both deeply personal, yet always future focused and is rooted in the underground and shaped by both global dance floors and the wide-open energy of the Australian bush. Laura's sound is unmistakably her own. Laura is an intuitive mixer with a very tactile method, always looping, switching between 3-4 decks and has impressive skills in cross-mixing genres and surprising blends. Her signature high energy sets combine contemporary hard dance, groove techno, hip hop vocals, psychedelic trance, tribe and all things fast, quirky and bottom heavy. Laura's really honing in on her productions at the moment and after a decade of djing a unique and original sound has certainly emerged - fusing together a quirky, stripped back, driving style of techno and trance. Her most recent track has just been released on 'Selected' Berlin. She’s performed at every esteemed festival, event and club across the country. Add to that, she has just joined French agency KTK and will be setting off on her first professional euro tour this year in 2025. Recent shows include Piknic Electronik 6 years as a resident, PURE Carl Cox, Festival X, Pitch Festival, Beyond The Valley festival, Dreamstate as well a s residencies for Bloom nightclub and a stack of other reputable events, bush doofs and clubs around the country. Shared the stage with - Charlotte De Whitte, Thomas Schumacher, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz, FJAAK, Hector Oaks, Boysnoize, Luigi Madonna, Xclub, Mauro Picotto, Freedom fighters and many more.
