Lisa More emerges as an essential figure in the French electronic music scene, hailing from the volcanic capital of Clermont-Ferrand. Her journey began with an early apprenticeship in DJing under her father, himself a DJ and record store owner. Fromthere, she progressed to organizing her own raves during her teenage years, ultimately finding her place at the renowned 101 Club in 2016. Within a mere two years, she became an integral part of the club’s fabric, assuming the roles of resident DJ and organizer of «The Blue Nights». Whether in her hometown or across France, her vision is expansive, as evidenced by the establishment of Tsunami Recordings in 2020, a label dedicated to nurturing emerging talents in the French electronic music scene. In her sets, one can expect a unique blend of styles, as Lisa effortlessly navigates between killer breaks, electro textures, emo synths, and trance arpeggios, often with a touch of psychedelia. In other words, she eschews boundaries, creating an ecstatic coherence that defies genre constraints. The year 2023 marked a significant milestone in her career with the release of her debut album, «Cyborg Tears». This introspective opus provides a glimpse into Lisa’s artistic soul, a universe she explores further in her live performances, demonstrating her ability to transcend conventions and craft a more personal, immersive, and emotionally resonant musical experience. Finally, in 2024, Lisa embraced a new challenge as the new club and concert programmer at one of Paris’s most iconic venues: the Machine du Moulin Rouge. This latest responsibility solidifies her status as a rising icon in the French electronic music scene, signaling even greater heights ahead for this unstoppable artist.
