In 2024, she began her DJ journey, channeling the sensibilities shaped through years immersed in underground club culture. Grounded in Techno, her sound moves fluidly across Electronica, Bass Music, and Drum & Bass, weaving together diverse textures through groove-driven and intuitive mixing. Rather than adhering to genre boundaries, she focuses on creating a continuous flow that balances tension, depth, and movement. She has performed at venues and events including VENT, WOMB, CUBE, OR, HVEN, Ojo, and more. while steadily expanding her presence across Tokyo’s underground scene. Alongside her DJ activities, MOTOKA founded Sync///, a techno party built around the concepts of Immersion and Layers. Conceived as a space where sound, light, and human presence converge, the project explores the potential of collective experience through carefully crafted atmospheres and evolving interactions. Through both her DJ sets and curatorial work, she continues to seek new forms of expression emerging from the intersection of music, space, and people.
