From throwing DIY parties in abandoned shops during her university days to running her own labels, Or:la's story is organic and humble. Throughout her journey as an artist, the Derry born producer and DJ has consistently strived to escape categorisation through a preference to follow her intuition and passion for traversing tempos and moods, over any particular genre. As the boss of (former) Deep Sea Frequency and her current label, Céad, Or:la's DIY mentality continues to extend beyond the DJ booth, nurturing a community of diverse artists who share her love for drum-heavy, textured dance music.
