Regal

Regal

His signature sound, which is fluid, driving, and emotionally charged, moves confidently between genres, merging groovy percussion with hypnotic melodies that leave a lasting imprint on dance floors worldwide. From the iconic intensity of Berghain, RSO, Basement NY or Khidi, where he is a resident, to the vast arenas of Fabrik, Awakenings or Tomorrowland, Regal has shaped dancefloor moments across the international circuit. He has released on respected labels like BPitch and Figure, collaborated with artists such as Len Faki, remixed tracks by Nina Kraviz, Ellen Allien and Emmanuel Top, while his own productions have been reworked by heavyweights including Radio Slave, Thomas P. Heckmann and Slam. While his earlier imprint Involve Records helped define a new era of 303-driven, high voltage techno, releasing music by artists like Boston 168, FJAAK, and JKS, Regal now ushers in a new chapter with his new project Backspin Records. His fresh platform is dedicated to pushing forward thinking club music, featuring productions by artists such as Obscure Shape, Dajusch, Sterac and Marco Bailey or performances by Laure Croft and Carmen Electro, to name a few. Backspin is inspired by early 2000's Hardgroove and loopy Techno with a renewed creative vision, marking the next evolution in Regal's trajectory as an artist, curator and catalyst within the global techno movement.
