YUTA

YUTA (Liquid Drop Groove) DJ / Label head / Organizer / Curator in Tokyo. After 10 years in the trance scene and numerous achievements, YUTA shifted his focus to techno in 2015 and launched Liquid Drop Groove in 2016, releasing music across digital and vinyl formats, as well as podcasts and video streams. In addition, he has taken a multifaceted approach to maximizing the label’s potential, including memorable parties such as Agaitida Festival (Okinawa), Bassiani Tokyo collaboration series with overseas labels, and co-organised events with DJ Nobu. A rare figure in Tokyo who balances his work as an artist and organizer while shaping ideas that influence the local scene. While continuing to produce and release music, and actively joining podcasts and video streaming platforms across various regions, YUTA’s main focus remains DJing. As a resident DJ at Tokyo’s well-known VENT club, he is rooted in techno with a sound that moves fluidly between mental, hypnotic, tribal and trancy elements. His sets are defined by a psychedelic groove and cinematic flow, shaped freely and intuitively in the moment. In recent years, YUTA has toured extensively across Asia, performing at Wonderfruit in Thailand, the cave festival Retreat in Vietnam, and regularly tours clubs in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Vietnam. In Europe, he has performed at venues including Essaim, Gare, and KHIDI, as well as major festivals such as OZORA in Hungary and Modem in Croatia. In Japan, he has graced the decks at rural, Moment, and DJ Nobu’s legendary Future Terror. Having toured Colombia in 2025, YUTA has La Nature (Belgium) and Third Eye (Berlin) scheduled for 2026. YUTA --Instagram https://www.instagram.com/yuta_ldg/ --SoundCloud https://soundcloud.com/yuta_ldg --YouTube 1: https://youtu.be/320M07x8yRs?si=bkTnsP_jUU9Km2lr 2: https://youtu.be/-giD-HwLMLA?si=qsjR_WwrxE6rW7_l 3: https://youtu.be/NlTjCIIOWSc?si=8hbQ_ed-Wrg14nph 4: https://youtu.be/1l6KMckn7vQ?si=taOHV4KMQAgI_23v --Resident Advisor https://ja.ra.co/dj/yuta Liquid Drop Groove --Instagram https://www.instagram.com/liquiddropgroove.new/ --SoundCloud https://soundcloud.com/liquiddropgroove --YouTube https://www.youtube.com/c/LiquidDropGroove --Bandcamp https://liquiddropgroove.bandcamp.com --Website https://liquiddropgroove.com
