A Friends Feed That Puts the Night First

The old Activity feed read like a list. Text-first rows, a name, a venue, a date, and you had to tap in to see what actually happened. It worked, but it made every night out feel like an entry in a spreadsheet.

The refresh flips that. Media leads now: the photo or clip from the show is the first thing you see, full-width, with the artist and venue laid over it like a real recap instead of a database row. Scroll the feed and it reads the way an actual night out reads back to you, visually, one show at a time.

You can do more without leaving the scroll, too. Like a log right from the card. Follow the artist or the venue straight off a friend’s post if it catches your attention. See who else was in the building without opening a separate screen. The feed used to be something you checked. Now it’s closer to something you’d actually sit and scroll through on a Sunday morning, coffee in hand, catching up on who saw what.

None of this is vanity. A feed that’s actually worth opening is what gets people logging in the first place, and every log they see from a friend is a nudge to add their own. That’s the flywheel: better feed, more logs, better recommendations for everyone.
